Technical Specifications for Holding Time
The installation is arranged in a formation of 8 × 12 porcelain tiles, each spaced 20cm apart.
The total footprint of the work measures approximately:
A minimum viewing circulation of 1.5m is maintained around the installation perimeter.
Tile & Plinth Construction
Each porcelain tile measures:
Tiles are mounted and dismounted using putty onto individual plinth stands.
Plinth heights vary between:
2 ceiling-mounted short-throw projectors
1 additional standard projector
Projectors are suspended centrally at approximately 3m height.
The two short-throw projectors illuminate the tiled formation, while the additional projector is directed toward a suspended canvas surface positioned beyond the installation.
All projection is operated through:
Audio & Concealed Technical Area
concealed PC and AV system
The canvas is mounted approximately 60cm from the wall using wooden brackets, creating a concealed rear technical workspace.
Brackets project out 60cm from wall
Hidden Shelving x2 1.8m by 60cm deep
Audience movement naturally forms a U-shaped pathway around the installation perimeter, encouraging slow navigation while maintaining distance from the concealed technical wall. At Generator projects, i made use of the peep hole, which connected my other elelemts in the first smaller gallery.
